I’m still on the fence, parts of the story worked really well for me. I’m not entirely sure where the series is going yet in its overall arc, but I’m enjoying the hell out of getting there. You submitted the following rating and review. Cynna Weaver is an enigma and a treat. I did enjoy the dragons, but I felt Wilks was a bit weak in her plotting of external events happening over in Dis. I was moderately into the series when I finished Tempting Danger, but this was, from the start, was clearly on a lower level, and it just got worse.

This is a very promising series. It was a 3-star book for a long time, but then it happened! This series has not quite found its legs yet.

But it soon becomes a case of the hunter becoming the hunted. Harlowe who in the previous book had escaped with the staff kidnapped Lilyy’s sister to lure her out. I like Cynthia, I really do. Lily Yu is attacked by a demon at her sister’s wedding and Rule gets more anxious than ever regarding her safety. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Felt a little teary as the journey unfolded.

I want more of the pack. No trivia or quizzes yet. I liked the book.

In the first book, Rule seemed to have really changed his direction from being a typical lupi who danver as promiscuous as the next one to being monogamous to Lily when they are bonded.

Some definite lines were crossed here even though they weren’t concentrated on that much. This is the second book in the series and I thought it was a solid, fast paced entry in this Urban Fantasy police procedural.

I thought the wipks to Dis was poignant and rather earth iwlks for all involved, in different ways. The cast of characters and the style of the ‘old radio show’, complete with sound effects, made it fun to listen to dnager set the sound of Cullen, Lily and Rule, in my head.

For the benefit of those who haven’t read the first book, I won’t be going into specifics to avoid bringing up s Originally posted here. She also adds a Finder, dragons and many other not so friendly demons. In the blink of any eye Lily’s world divides and collides, and she is thrust into a new and frightening reality.

This book felt aimless. Lily is not happy about having him around all the time while she searches for the staff and Harlowe.

The two Lily eventually met in Dis and one sacrificed herself so the others could escape. Don’t understand why this series is classified romance by my library. I would like to learn more about Rule and the Lupi, alot about them is still a secret to the reader and to Lily. All of it is well-crafted and nicely edited. The best is that everything works so well together!!! What I like about their connection is even though the elieen bond is there, they still have to work on the emotional side and all the baggage that comes with it.

While I would have been foaming at the mouth, Lily is the personification of cool when she meet Cynthia ,diddled one.

A cat though – a cat will take your number and get back to you. So, having enjoyed the first couple of books, I am happy to continue with the series for sure! To ask other readers questions about Mortal Dangerplease sign up.

Not the least of which is Lily’s Chinese heritage and how her background and her family give the series an Asian flavor. They come when you call them. I am really not fond of Wilks’ tendency to tell us about the action after the fact. ranger

It was originally sold in the Ddanger section of bookstores, but more and more you will be able to find copies cross-shelved under Sci-Fi and Fantasy as the popularity of the series grows!
