The story of The Realm and its denizens is wonderful. Most of them are already locations and established, except the Florida Everglades.

The characters are not only likeable but loveable with the exception of Lord Nottingham whom you really want to hate. For me, not enough focus on the romantic couple, but when we do see them together, it’s very hot.

Heart of the Wolf. Jayr has served Byrne as his seneschal a cross between a business administrator, bodyguard and personal servant ever since the night he accidentally killed her and turned her into Darkyn. Now, Byrne plans to step down and hand over the Jardin to another Kyn lord-a move that threatens not only Jayr’s position, but her very life Now, Byrne plans to step down and hand over the Jardin If I don’t, It’s going to be stuck in my head until I do: Emotions come into play that make you want to weep for her.

JayrAedan mac Byrne.
